Heading to Leeds Fest this weekend? 🎵

We need to talk...

We'll be at Leeds Festival with the Violence Reduction Partnership, getting people talking about consent. Stop by for a chat as we challenge myths, share knowledge, and encourage open, honest conversations.

📍 Find us next to the charging station, or simply look for the big yellow gazebo.

Have you spotted the Crimestoppers team in Wakefield Centre?

It’s all part of our joint effort with local partners to make it easy to report knife crime and access services.

You can use this anonymous service ➡ https://crimestoppers-uk.org/give-information/forms/pre-form

Every knife surrendered is one less weapon that can cause harm.

Partners across West Yorkshire are providing a safe and anonymous way for people in Dewsbury, Halifax, Leeds and Wakefield to surrender knives from 3-28 Aug.

Virtual Decisions – Delivery Partner 2026-27– EOI

In 2025-26, the West Yorkshire Violence Reduction Partnership (VRP) piloted having a dedicated delivery partner for their Virtual Decisions intervention, who had access to a number of virtual reality headsets and delivered sessions from June 2025 until March 2026. The pilot year evidenced that this dedicated approach is successful in reaching young people across West Yorkshire with the intervention being delivered in more varied settings, beyond schools. The VRP intend to replicate this approach for 2026-27.

The VRP is holding a grant round and asking those interested in this opportunity to consider submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI).

We strongly recommend you read the specification (https://tinyurl.com/4dbj5djh) and supporting information (https://tinyurl.com/3rvwyv7v) documents before submitting the EOI.

Please send clarification questions to [email protected] and title to email ‘Virtual Decisions – Delivery Partner questions’. Clarification questions can be submitted between 29th June and 17th July 2026. Any questions received after this date will not be responded to.

Please also contact [email protected] if you require any of the documents related to this opportunity in a digitally accessible format.

Deadline: 12 noon, 31st July 2026.

Please note, submissions after this date will not be accepted.

Please share. Thank you 😊
