Meet Jane and Cameron, our inspiring Nightstop hosts opening their home in Rochdale to young people facing homelessness.
They said: “What Nightstop doesn’t tell you is how much you benefit. It’s a huge learning curve hearing the young people’s stories and it adds a whole new dimension to your life experience.”
Jane continued: “The fantastic thing is, it’s so simple. We are just sharing our home and our lives. They are here, they get meals and a bed. It’s good to have the time to talk to them, to listen to their story.”
From offering their campervan for isolation during Covid to celebrating milestones with a ‘pizza prom’, Jane and Cameron are creating a safe environment where young people can feel part of their family while our staff work to find a longer-term solution.
