👶🦷 Baby Fortnight – Is your baby teething?

Those first little teeth can sometimes make their arrival known!

Most babies start teething at around 6 months, although every baby is different. You might notice:

💧 More dribbling than usual
👄 Chewing or gnawing on things
🔴 A sore or red gum where a tooth is coming through
😣 Your baby being a little more unsettled

A chilled teething ring can help soothe sore gums – just remember not to put it in the freezer.

And once that first tooth makes an appearance, it’s time to start brushing twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. 🪥✨

Every new tooth is another little smile to look after! 💛

🌟Potty / toilet training🌟
Research shows that it is better for your child's bladder and bowel health to stop using nappies between the age of 18 and 30 months. We can help prepare our child for potty training by encouraging 'potty learning' skills when they are able to sit up - normally between the age of 6-9 months.
Toilet training is one of the topics that we will be discussing with you at your child's development reviews at around 10 months and also again at your child's 2 year review. 🙂
