In 2015 Norman & Underwood a Leicester company established in 1825, were asked to make a 1.7m long, lead ossuary to hold Richard III’s remains, which were then placed inside the reinterment coffin.
They also helped restore the Victorian School and worked on the creation of the King Richard III Visitor Centre.
