Let's shine a spotlight on two more characters from this year's .

Meet Moussa and Pip.

🪘Moussa is passionate about writing lyrics and solving maths problems. He loves breaking things down and helping others learn. He’s especially keen on percussion and enjoys showing people how rhythm can bring a group together.

🐭And then little Pip. He may be small, but his big ears are perfect for listening to jazz.

Next up in our Accessibility Films showcase is Broughton Astley library. Our films aim to help neurodivergent audiences, autistic individuals, and those with learning disabilities and anxiety disorders by showing what to expect during a first visit to a Leicestershire library in a site-specific, visual format.
We have 15 films in total, all lovingly co-created with wonderful groups of students from GoLearn Leicestershire, Maplewell Hall School & Maplewell Post 16 and Little Hill Primary School. The sixth film in our series of Library Welcome Guides showcases Loughborough Library. Students from GoLearn Leicestershire and Maplewell Hall School did a wonderful job in co-creating our film and explaining what a first visit looks like.
Feedback from partners such as Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust has told us just how useful these films are in helping neurodivergent individuals plan their first visit to a library.
