FREE talk for RSPB volunteers and RSPB group members!

- Join renowned naturalist David Lindo (aka ‘The Urban Birder’) for
an engaging talk as part of the RSPB’s Black History Month
celebrations.

7:00pm-8:00pm, Thursday 30 October 2025

David Lindo is an awarded writer, broadcaster, tour leader and
birder who has spent his life encouraging others to notice nature in
urban areas through the medium of birds. Learn about some of his
work and find out why being connected to nature is so important for
our minds and hearts - wherever you might find yourself.
David is a well-known speaker for many groups and is on our
External Speaker list. Please promote this event to your group
members. The talk will be recorded.

Conor will tell us about this elusive bird, how and where it lives, and why it might be missing from our lives.

Please join us at the Leicester Bowling Club, Kenwood Rd, off Carisbrooke Road, Leicester LE2 3PL at 7.30pm.

Meetings cost £5 per person to cover the cost of hall hire.

Tea and coffee are available in the interval and we aim to finish at about 9.30pm.
