As expected Broome Lane remains impassable.

There are six flood warnings in place in the Charnwood area which means flooding is expected.

They are in place for:
- River Soar at Cotes and Loughborough Moors
- River Soar at Mountsorrel Lock and riverside properties and mills
- River Soar at caravan parks near Barrow upon Soar
- Rivers Wreake and Soar for riverside properties near Syston and Birstall
- Rothley Brook at Glenfield and Anstey
- River Wreake for mills at Hoby, Thrussington and Ratcliffe

If you live or are travelling in these areas, please be aware flooding may take place.

FLOOD WARDEN UPDATE:

East Goscote brook up and running well

Broome lane still has water over the road but it is lowering slowly. Cones are still in place. Road is one sheet of ice at the minute.

Please be advised that Broome Lane is currently flooded and impassable.
