Summer is a time for making memories, celebrating and spending time with friends and family☀️

For many of us, that can sometimes mean drinking more alcohol than usual or making different choices around substances. If you've found yourself overindulging, you're not alone – and there's no judgement.

Every day is a new opportunity to make small, positive changes that support your health and wellbeing. Whether that's having a few alcohol-free days each week, cutting back, seeking advice or simply taking a moment to reflect on what feels right for you, even small steps can make a big difference.
If you're thinking about making a change, support is available. Turning Point Leicestershire & Rutland offers confidential, personalised support for anyone affected by substance or alcohol use, helping people find the right treatment and support for your individual circumstances.

💙 Remember: asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

📢 What do you really think about food?

We're encouraging Leicestershire residents to get involved in The Food Conversation, a national initiative exploring what people across the UK want from food.

Join one of three local events and share your thoughts on the challenges we face around food, from affordability and access to health and sustainability, and discuss the solutions you'd like to see in the future. These conversations are being facilitated by Incredible Edible, Charnwood Forest GeoPark and Circular Agriculture Hub

📍 Ulverscroft Manor, LE67 9PH 🗓️ Tuesday 25 August ⏰ 12:30pm to 4:15pm
