🎉 THE MCRLOT IS 2!

The Manchester Library of Things is officially 2 years old, and what an amazing 2 years of sharing, saving, and borrowing it’s been!

New items alert!
Two more brilliant items have been donated to the Library of Things by generous community members who want to share the love. Thank you!
⚫A mega drill (SDS drill) for those tougher masonry jobs, complete with: 10 SDS drill bits and an adaptor for standard drill bits.
⚫A pressure washer... yes, another one! They're much in demand and now there's even more chance of getting one when you need it.

Every donated item helps more people borrow instead of buy, saving money, reducing waste, and making good tools available to the whole community.

It's us! At the brilliant Manchester Museum! Join us for two special events on 8th and 22nd August, including a repair demo with one of our talented volunteer repairers. Read all about it in Manchester Wire!

SUSTAINABLE SUMMER: This month, Manchester Museum welcomes Levenshulme initiative Manchester Library of Things for a pair of free, insightful events focusing on borrowing, sharing and repairing, and the ways in which we can build stronger local communities while tackling waste.

Part of their residency with the museum's captivating Human Natures exhibition, which explores overconsumption and our exploitative relationship with the environment, the group takes over the Conversation Space with a chance to meet the team on Sat 8 Aug to discover how the library works, before live household repair demonstrations and practical tips on making your belongings last longer on Sat 22 Aug.
