Weโ€™d really appreciate your help by completing a short survey about the support and activities you and your child may have taken part in.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete. If you choose to leave your email address at the end, you can also be entered into a prize draw as a thank you for your time.

This survey is for parents and carers of children born between April 2021 and March 2023 and asks about any programmes or support you may have accessed

Your feedback is really important and will help us understand what works well for families and how services can continue to improve.

Thank you for taking the time to share your views.

Is it a bird? or is it a plane?
Itโ€™s actually a cardboard box, but with a little imagination this box could be transformed into something amazing!
If you are anything like us, you will have lots of spare cardboard boxes in your house. With some creativity these boxes could become you childโ€™s next โ€˜canvasโ€™. Boxes are great starting point for creative play, they can be drawn on, cut into different shapes, or try collecting different boxes of different sizes and stick them together to create something new.
Want to see a box being used in play, check out this short video.

Play Week 2026: Books & Beyond ๐Ÿ“šโœจ

A childโ€™s imagination is powerfulโ€”it can turn a stick into a sword, a box into a castle, and a bedroom into outer space. Storytelling helps bring this imagination to life, inspiring play, creativity, language development, emotional understanding and curiosity.

This yearโ€™s Play Week, supporting the National Year of Reading, celebrates the power of stories in the early years. From books and classic tales to oral storytelling and madeโ€‘up adventures, stories help children explore the world and connect with others.

Join in for a week of free resources, blogs and virtual events for families and early years providersโ€”discovering how stories can spark play and creativity.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Sign up below and let your imagination soar!

The Early Years Alliance's National Week of Play will run from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July this year.

Keeping Your Mouth Healthy During Pregnancy
Looking after your teeth and gums during pregnancy helps protect your mouth and support overall health. Hormonal changes can make gums more sensitive, so a gentle routine with fluoride toothpaste is key.

๐ŸŒˆ Happy Pride Month!
This June, weโ€™re celebrating love, kindness, and being our true selves!
For our littlest ones, this month is all about creating a world where everyone is welcomed, loved, and accepted for who they are. Whether itโ€™s rainbow colours, family fun, or reading stories that embrace all kinds of love, letโ€™s teach our children that kindness and respect are what make the world a brighter place!
Letโ€™s continue to build a community where every family feels seen, heard, and supported.

Hidden sugars in processed infant food pouches
Many processed infant food pouches contain much more than a childโ€™s daily recommendation. Some have nearly 2 times the recommended amount of added sugar in one serving!
Letโ€™s help our little ones to have a healthy smile!
