🚌 Let’s Talk Bus – Coming to Bude!
Do you use local bus services in North Cornwall—or wish you could? This is your chance to have your say 👇

đź“… Friday 19 June
🕤 9:30am – 2:30pm
📍 The Crescent Coach Area & The Strand

Transport for Cornwall and Bus Users UK will be in Bude with the Chatter Bus, speaking directly with residents about local bus services, what’s working, what’s not, and what needs to improve.

With transport and connectivity being such a key issue across North Cornwall, this is a really important opportunity to help shape future services and make sure rural and coastal communities are heard.

✨ Come along to:
• Share your experiences
• Highlight challenges
• Suggest improvements
• Be part of the conversation

We’d really encourage everyone—residents, community groups and local organisations—to get involved and spread the word.
Your voice matters—let’s work together to make a difference 🚍

Film + Food Night - Sunday 10th May

All ages are welcome!

Mental Health Awareness Week is from 11th – 17th May 2026. It is a fantastic opportunity to bring mental wellbeing to the forefront, share tips and resources and have those all important conversations around this vital topic affecting every single one of us.

This year at The Pearl Exchange, we want to use this occasion to draw attention to the importance of inclusive and diverse places to support mental wellbeing. What better way to do this than bringing together the wonderful community of Bude and beyond to showcase a culturally diverse film: Palestine Comedy Club and share a meal.

We all have mental health and we all experience ups and downs as we navigate life’s demands. Coming together in community, whether through shared activities, events, or simply connecting with neighbours, fosters a sense of belonging, strengthens relationships and empowers individuals. It makes us feel loved, accepted and safe, which are key factors to a happy, fulfilled life experience.

Please join us as we gather our beloved community for a fun cultural journey: an evening of sharing a beautiful Palestinian inspired plant based meal, followed by watching Palestine Comedy Club, an inspirational film on how to keep smiling when things get tough.

Exams can be stressful - help is on hand

Are you a parent or carer of a young person taking exams this year?
Exams can be very stressful for students of any age, but there is help and guidance available.

Parents, carers and young people in Cornwall can find a wealth of mental health support on the Start Now website. The resources from Headstart Kernow, part of Together for Families at Cornwall Council, have been created with young people themselves.

The stress can sometimes seem overwhelming, but there are ways to keep stress levels in check, stay focused and fresh and even have time for friends.

Check out Start Now’s tips and tools and find the ones that work for you.

Hi! Working with young people in Cornwall we've created two amazing spaces, each packed with ideas and support that really fits you.
