New EU arrivals just landed from Guatemala 🇬🇹

These Anaerobic Natural and Natural Top Lots from Lake Ayarza are returning favourites from our cherry mill in Ayarza, Santa Rosa. Our team works closely with producers in the region, paying premiums for ripe cherry and centrally processing the coffee to maintain quality from harvest to export. 🌱

These coffees also include a premium that helps fund the 26 Coffee Kindergartens and Coffee camps in Guatemala our origin teams created for children aged between 5-13. These programs provide a safe space for kids while their parents work on coffee farms during harvest season and instead of being in environments where work might creep in, children get meals, they get education, free meals and just get to be kids 🤎

We are in the busiest period of arrival season and our QC team is working relentlessly to cup and rate each pre-shipment sample.

New arrivals from Uganda, including a fully washed RFA lot from our own washing station, Sironko in the Budadiri subcounty.

We provide ‘Good Agricultural Practices’ (GAP) Training for partner farmers to help improve quality, productivity and yield. Our Sironko team also operate women and youth empowerment programs, which you can read more about on our website.

Notice of upcoming bank holiday closures👇🏼

Vollers Hamburg has advised that their office and warehouse will be closed this Thursday, the 14th of May. Orders are processed as usual until Wednesday, then resume from Friday, but deliveries may take longer. 📦

Our office and both UK & EU warehouses will be closed on Monday, the 25th of May.

Natural and washed lots, including ‘Top Lots’ that were rated by our QC team ⭐️

Among these arrivals from the highest point of Mondul Estate is a small, separated plot known as Bloom plot, a section reserved for the farm’s most refined coffees. 🤎

We’re approaching the busiest time for arrivals and it’s looking strong 👀

A full lineup of highly anticipated Ethiopia lots are on the way, alongside Kenya arrivals from a new supplier, bringing new offerings to the Covoya roster. Numerous coffees from Tanzania, Uganda and Guatemala are afloat and soon will be available in the UK. 🧡

For EU roasters, upcoming arrivals from Uganda, Ethiopia and Colombia will bring a diverse range of processes and flavour profiles in the next weeks, with plenty lots to explore. 🇪🇺🌍
