Brothers Mike and Dave Harries bring a blend of country, blues, folk, bluegrass, and original songs to Market Square. Playing tenor and resonator guitar (with banjo and mandolin mixed in), their music honoUrs deep local roots, their family has farmed the foothills of Mynydd Epynt for over 200 years, inspire songs about its rich history and community.

Mae Kelvin wedi gwneud gwaith arbennig dros y blynyddoedd, gan gadw’r parc yn edrych yn berffaith a gwneud cymaint o wahaniaeth i’n cymuned.

Hoffem ddymuno ymddeoliad hapus iawn i ti, Kelvin! Bydd colled fawr arnat, ac ni allwn ddiolch digon i ti am dy holl waith caled, dy ymroddiad a’th gefnogaeth dros y blynyddoedd. 👏💚🌳

LLANYMDDYFRI YN EI BLODAU 2026

Thank you to all who participated in the Llandovery In Bloom competition 2026. It has been an unusual and difficult year during the heatwave, but through your love, energy, time and passion you have triumphed. Llandovery bloomed magnificently. Thank you also to the Judge, Maggie (Margaret Swallow) who took photographs and displayed them outside the Red Lion, for you to view on presentation day. A special thank you also to the Mayor & Mayoress for presenting the prizes.

Diolch i bawb a gymerodd ran yng nghystadleuaeth Llandovery in Bloom 2026. Bu’n flwyddyn anarferol a heriol oherwydd y cyfnod o dywydd poeth, ond drwy eich cariad, eich egni, eich amser a’ch brwdfrydedd, rydych wedi llwyddo’n wych. Bu Llanymddyfri yn ei blodau yn odidog.
