Diweddariad Ar Gludiant i'r Ysgol – Medi 2025
Wrth i ni baratoi ar gyfer y flwyddyn ysgol newydd, rydym yn argymell yn gryf bod rhieni a gwarcheidwaid yn gwirio llwybr bysiau ysgol eu plentyn/plant ac amseroedd casglu/gollwng drwy fewngofnodi i'w Cyfrif Fy Mhowys: School Bus Routes and Timetables - Powys County Council.
Beth sy'n Newid?
Er bod y rhan fwyaf o'r llwybrau yn aros yr un fath, efallai y bydd gan rai disgyblion ddarparwr trafnidiaeth newydd ac amseroedd casglu a gollwng ychydig yn wahanol. Gwiriwch eich manylion yn ofalus i osgoi unrhyw ddryswch ar ddiwrnod cyntaf y tymor.

School Transport Update – September 2025
As we prepare for the new school year, we strongly recommend that parents and guardians check their child(ren)’s school bus route and pick-up/drop-off times by logging into their My Powys Account: School Bus Routes and Timetables - Powys County Council.
What’s Changing?
While most routes remain the same, some pupils may have a new transport provider and slightly different pick-up or drop-off times. Please check your details carefully to avoid any confusion on the first day of term.

Tarfu ar Wasanaethau Trafnidiaeth Gyhoeddus/Public Transport Disruptions.
Oherwydd rhybuddion gan y Swyddfa Dywydd ynghylch y tywydd y penwythnos hwn, mae nifer o Wasanaethau Trafnidiaeth Gyhoeddus a allai fod yn gyfyngedig neu ddim yn rhedeg nes bod y storm wedi pasio. Gwiriwch y cyfryngau lleol am ddiweddariadau gan weithredwyr. Rydym yn ymwybodol o'r canlynol ar hyn o bryd: Ni fydd Celtic Travel yn dechrau rhedeg eu gwasanaethau bws dydd Sadwrn tan 12pm oherwydd y rhybudd tywydd COCH. Mae hyn yn berthnasol i'r gwasanaethau 48, 58, X75 a X47. Mae TFW hefyd wedi atal y T6 trwy'r dydd. Arhoswch yn ddiogel yn ystod y cyfnod hwn.
Due to Met office warnings regarding the Weather this weekend there are a number of Public Transport Services that may be restricted or not running until the storm has passed, please check local media for updates from operators, we are currently aware of the following: Celtic Travel will not start running their Saturday bus services until 12pm due to the RED weather warning. This relates to the 48, 58, X75 and X47 services. TFW have also suspended the T6 all day. Please stay safe during this time.

Yn ystod tywydd garw, gall ysgolion a gwasanaethau trafnidiaeth gyhoeddus wynebu heriau gweithredol. Hyd yn oed os yw ysgol ar agor, efallai na fydd gwasanaethau trafnidiaeth yn rhedeg. Felly, mae'n hanfodol gwirio gyda'r gweithredwr trafnidiaeth perthnasol. Sylwch fod penderfyniadau ynghylch cau ysgolion yn cael eu gwneud gan yr ysgol, tra bod penderfyniadau diogelwch trafnidiaeth yn cael eu gwneud gan bob gweithredwr. Os byddwch yn dewis mynd â'ch plentyn i'r ysgol, chi sy'n gyfrifol am eu casglu ar ddiwedd y dydd.

During inclement weather, school and public transport services may face operational challenges. Even if a school remains open, transport services might not be running. Therefore, it is crucial to check with the relevant transport operator. Please note that decisions about school closures are made by the school, while transport safety decisions are made by each operator. If you choose to take your child to school, you are responsible for collecting them at the end of the day.

Mae’r polisi Cludiant o’r Cartref i’r Ysgol sydd ynghlwm wedi’i gymeradwyo i’w weithredu gan ddechrau yn y flwyddyn academaidd Medi 2025. Ar ôl ei weithredu, bydd yn disodli’r polisi cyfredol. O ganlyniad, ni fydd y polisi cyfredol yn cael ei gyhoeddi mwyach, a bydd unrhyw ddysgwyr newydd o 2025 ymlaen yn ddarostyngedig i’r polisi newydd. Bydd dysgwyr presennol sy’n derbyn cludiant ysgol yn parhau i wneud hynny o dan drefniadau’r polisi blaenorol.

The attached Home to School Transport policy has been approved for implementation starting in the academic year of September 2025. Upon its implementation, it will replace the current policy. Consequently, the current policy will no longer be published, and any new learners from 2025 onwards will be subject to the new policy. Existing learners who are already receiving school transport will continue to do so under the previous policy arrangements.

*IMPORTANT NOTICE
From May 25th until June 10th Welsh Water are carrying out essential maintenance works on the B4558 in Llangynidr. Unfortunately this means no bus service will be able to operate to Llangynidr between those dates. Powys County Council and Stagecoach apologise for the inconvenience this will cause, but these circumstances are beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.

"Most local bus fares in Powys will increase by about 10% from 7th April 2024
This is the first general increase since 2019.
Fare bargains are still available:

• The minimum Adult single fare remains at £1.30
• The maximum single and return fares remain capped at £9.00 Adult by the Powys Day Rover Ticket
• 10 single journeys (either way) for the price of 7
• Young Persons (aged 16 - 21 years inclusive) travel at Child rates if holding a Welsh Government 'MyTravelPass' card
• Welsh Concessionary passholders still travel free of charge
• Concessionary passholders from other parts of the UK may purchase Powys Day Rover Tickets at the child rate
• Group Tickets (single or return or Day Rover) now valid for any 5 people travelling together"
