There is just one month to go until Pembrey Country Park hosts Wales Armed Forces Day 2026 and FREE tickets are now available to book online.

The event which is being held on Saturday 27 June 2026 is free to all, however organisers are encouraging those planning to attend to get their tickets before the day. Event goers who haven’t got their tickets in advance will not be turned away on the day.

We are inviting expressions of interest for Chairperson of the new Llanelli Neighbourhood Board, following Llanelli’s inclusion in the UK Government’s Pride in Place Programme.

The Chairperson will play a pivotal role in shaping the impact of the Pride in Place Programme which includes: appointing and leading the Neighbourhood Board; providing clear, inclusive and transparent leadership, working constructively with Carmarthenshire County Council and ensuring that decisions are community led, fair and aligned with local needs.

It was a pleasure to join the Parc Howard Association fundraiser evening , a fantastic community event filled with good company, a wonderful curry, a fun quiz and raffle, all in support of the jewel of our town, Parc Howard.

It was lovely to see people coming together to raise funds and celebrate such an important local space. A relaxing, joyful evening with fantastic hosts and excellent food throughout.

A big thank you to everyone who organised.👏👏👏
