Hiking every route up Snowdon Part 1 🏔️

We’re starting the series with the Pyg Track, one of the shortest routes up Snowdon but definitely not the easiest 🥾

We started at Pen-y-Pass car park. It quickly turns into a steady climb with loads of uneven rocky steps the whole way up. Your legs feel it early on, but the views of Crib Goch and the surrounding mountains are unreal the entire hike 🤯

If you’re looking for a route that’s shorter but still a challenge, the Pyg Track is 100% worth it.

Which route should we do next? 👀

This walk has everything - riverside paths, countryside views, and a stop at the stunning St Asaph Cathedral ⛪️ (which we missed 😭)

Even better it starts and ends at a pub 🍻 Perfect for a relaxed weekend walk in North Wales

Exploring Loggerheads Country Park in North Wales 🌿 One of the most beautiful and easy walks near Mold, with peaceful woodland trails, the River Alyn running through the valley and the dramatic limestone cliffs of Devil’s Gorge.

This place is perfect if you’re looking for scenic walks in North Wales, whether it’s a short nature walk, a weekend hike, or somewhere to explore with family or dogs. The paths follow the river through the gorge and the views along the way are stunning, especially in autumn and spring.

If you’re visiting North Wales or looking for things to do near Mold, this is definitely a spot worth adding to your list. It’s such a peaceful place and feels like a hidden gem even though it’s really easy to get to.

Save this for your next Wales walk and follow for more beautiful places to explore around North Wales 🥾
