Are you looking for a different way to spend your Saturdays?

Here at Hanwell Community Library we are looking for new Saturday volunteers.

As a volunteer, you will be contributing to the continuous running of a local community resource, welcoming and assisting the smiley faces of Hanwell Friends and Families.

Ever wanted to bedazzle a book?!

Join Sara-Jade Virtue, resident Book Doctor and creator of the BookSwap BookClub, at Hanwell Community Library for an exciting book bedazzling party on 2nd May from 2pm-4pm!

Bring a book, grab a free book from the Community Book Swap shelves, or buy a book from our second hand range (paperbacks are 50p, hardbacks are £1) to decorate, and immerse yourself in this calming, simple and fun craft to turn your book into a sparkling work of art.

All craft supplies and refreshments are provided free of charge.

All books are free and in great condition, covering a variety of genres for all ages!

Have you entered our fundraising raffle to be in with a chance of winning a pair of roundtrip Eurostar tickets?!

As many of you know, the library is more than just a place to borrow books. It’s a shared community space where people come to read, learn, work, meet others, and take part in events and activities.

To help us continue providing these resources and keeping the library welcoming and accessible for everyone, we’re holding a fundraising raffle.

Every entry helps support the library and contributes directly to providing free resources, and community activities.

The winner will be announced: 30th April, with tickets available to purchase until 29th April 23:59...

Unfortunately, we are postponing our Bake Sale that was scheduled for Saturday 4th.
The library will now be closed for the entirety of the bank holiday weeked.
