inspired by his book series ‘Cosmic Cadets’ illustrated by Rochelle Falconer published by Oxford University Press followed by some fun activities.
Copies of the Cosmic Cadets series will be available for purchase and signed by the author.

Ryan Crawford is an author, life coach and game designer - born, raised and still living in South London.
Through children’s books, Ryan is always on the lookout for new ways to bring the fun, imagination, and diversity of sci-fi and fantasy to the kids’ books genre. But his not-so-secret goal is to add a little giggle to everyone’s day.
His latest work, Cosmic Cadets, is a dazzling new middle-grade science fiction series for young readers. Driven by a passion to create rich, humorous sci-fi stories for children, Ryan developed the universe of Cosmic Cadets.
The series follows Gloria, the first human at the Cosmic Cadet Academy, as she embarks on bold adventures filled with squishy aliens, chocolate lakes, and space monsters.
Through his writing, Ryan explores themes of friendship, courage, and embracing the unknown, featuring characters who are delightfully out of their depth but determined to succeed.
Beyond writing, Ryan is a dedicated advocate for children's literacy and creativity. His talks encourage young readers to create their own fictional worlds and stories through positive, outside-the-box thinking and brainstorming. Ryan loves sharing his journey from a story-obsessed kid to a published author, inspiring budding artists and writers to transform everyday observations, laughs and experiences into extraordinary, out-of-this-world stories.
