Keep up the good work Luke Goddard for Birley ☺️

What do you think, Birley?

Should I be working cross-party in the best interests of our city, and showing Councillors the problems with taking away our greenbelt? This Councillor doesn’t seem to think so.

Other Councillors and I will disagree on many issues, but surely we should always seek understanding instead of division. Whether I align with the party or not, Councillors have been democratically elected and I respect the wishes of the people of Sheffield and work with any and all elected officials when they are willing to.

What does telling Councillors not to work with certain parties say about how they view the people who voted for us to be here?

I would like to take this opportunity to invite all Councillors to visit Birley. Just as when the Labour party leader visited, and when Greens and an Independent visited, I would be delighted to show them around and get to know each other. I will send an email this evening inviting this specific Councillor.

Although the shared post had the comments turned off, I’d like to hear what you think so I’ll be keeping them on.
