Our very own Cllr Rashmi Kalu - Roxeth, Harrow took these from the top of Churchfields, Harrow-on-the-Hill after doing a special eclipse litter pick with the Harrow Litter Pickers. We hope you also saw this evening's stellar spectacle, but if not, don't worry- there'll be another one next year!

⚠️ 𝐀𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐃
Amber Health warnings are in place this week and the Met Office has issued an Amber Heat warning for Thursday. Please make sure you are keeping cool and following all of the advice to keep cool. In particular:

☀️ Wear sunblock, keep hydrated and in the shade
🏊 Take care when swimming in open water - only swim where there is a lifeguard present
🏃‍♂️ Avoid physical activity
🪟 Keep windows closed during the day and open at night

Make sure to help those who are vulnerable. If you or someone you know is experiencing heatstroke, make sure to cool them down fast, give them lots of water and in an emergency, dial 999.

For too long, cancelling a subscription has been more difficult than subscribing in the first place. Moreover, many companies claim to offer customers discounts that fail to materialise at checkout. That's not right, as those costs add more pressure to people already feeling the pinch.

That is why they Labour Government are changing the law to ensure cancelling subscriptions are as easy to do as subscribing in the first place. Soon, companies:

📲 Must deliver on discount promises
📲 Must make it easy to cancel subscriptions
📲 Must inform customers when subscriptions are about to autorenew
