Hillingdon Council has, over the years, faced serious questions about the transparency with which it communicates what happens to our waste and the environmental consequences that follow.

One particularly troubling example is the contaminated land at New Years Green, which was associated with the closure of Ickenham’s public water source. That source remains closed for over thirty years now, after pollution entered the drinking water aquifer.

Please join us outside the Civic Centre, Uxbridge, at 6.45pm on Thursday 24th September. We are proud to support local community campaigns urging the Council to reconsider its decisions and to work towards a cleaner, greener and more sustainable Hillingdon.

Sarah of the SOAS 2 (SOAS 2 Defence Campaign) acquitted in unanimous jury verdict after ‘terrorism’ raid following legal complaint from pro-genocide groups, UK Lawyers for Israel.

Sarah had given a speech at her university and was accused, with no evidence, of publicly showing support for Hamas - a crime under the UK Terrorism Act that could see a prison sentence of up to 14 years.

Jurors have a right to acquit a defendant based on their own conscience. This is the second high profile trial this week where jurors have determined that the prosecution is wasting court time, and at huge taxpayer expense.

Two separate juries chose not to convict Sarah during two separate trials, the second issuing a unanimous not-guilty verdict.

We must Defend Our Juries and inform the public of the rights of jurors so that unjust prosecutions orchestrated through corruption will always lead to failure. We must join together to oppose Labour’s attack on jury trials, including their apparent plans to hand judges the power to determine whether trials take place with juries or not.

Since last year, our membership has more than doubled. Thanks to the amazing leadership of Zack Polanski we took on the long established two party system and fought for real change. The results were clear, with Hillingdon electing its first Green councillor. 💚

Spot on Zack. Too many Data centres are in planning process for Hillingdon and surrounding areas. This is because our local rivers are useful for cooling. Our rivers and local drinking water sources are already damaged. Urgent action is needed to save our Local natural water systems. Don't make it worse with Data centres.
