MAGHULL ADVICE CENTRE – WEEKLY TIMETABLE

Please see the timetable for Maghull Advice Centre for the week commencing Monday 24th August.

The Advice Centre is open to both Maghull and Lydiate residents, providing free support and advice to our local communities.

PADEL IN LYDIATE – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Lydiate Parish Council is exploring the opportunity to establish Padel in Lydiate and is seeking expressions of interest from not-for-profit organisations interested in partnering with the Parish Council to help deliver the project.

This is currently at an early stage, and we are testing the market to establish whether suitable organisations would be interested in working with us.

The current tennis courts at Sandy Lane have been identified as the preferred location, with provision for at least one tennis court to remain at the site.

We are seeking organisations that:

* Are not-for-profit.
* Can provide evidence of a plan to secure up to £800,000 in funding to deliver the project.
* Can demonstrate experience in the planning application process for Padel courts.
* Can demonstrate experience in project managing capital builds, including Padel.
* Preferably have a local connection and a commitment to giving back to the Lydiate community.

Expressions of interest must be received by 20 September 2026.

Subject to the responses received, a full partner selection process will then be undertaken.

We are also opening up on Friday morning for a dementia information session with Alzheimer's Sefton, please come along for a chat if you are concerned about yourself or a loved one
