Some good news. Following the distressing announcement of our closure we have managed to ensure the history of ArtSway will be preserved- we will be archiving it with Hampshire County Council Archive for all to view and access. Our website will also be made permanently online via The British Library.

After thorough consideration of all the options for the future, ArtSway announces it will be closing its gallery operation in Sway on 31st July 2012.

Our thanks goes to all our ArtSway Associate Artists who created this Support for ArtSway campaign. It is a sad day, but not a surprising one in the current climate.

I, personally (Melinda McCheyne, Gallery Manager) am very proud to be a part of the history of ArtSway and have enjoyed working with and have learned a lot from all the artists at ArtSway.
