The attractive terraced houses to the right were demolished many years ago to make way for Museum Street, which has itself disappeared under Fremlin Walk. (Old Maidstone Collection (OM131)

How The Kentish Lady II started her life - after some research it seems she arrived to Maidstone from Yarmouth in 1985 and was renamed from Broadlands Belle, that means its now 40 years shes been serving Maidstone on the Upper Medway !

The legend of the Titanic will be revealed as never before in this magnificent touring exhibition, bringing history to life through fascinating exhibits, including pictures and awe inspiring artefacts.

This summer exhibition tells the story of this great liner, honouring her passengers and crew, and the glory of the ship from construction and launch, to sinking and rediscovery.
