We currently have three fire engines in attendance at a fire on Main Road, Nether Langwith. This is on a farm involving 100 hay stacks.

We have been told that residents can see and smell lots of smoke nearby. We advise keeping your doors and windows closed.

We will be on scene for a considerable amount of time so please avoid the area - please do not fly drones above or near the incident.

An update for those who need to hear it on Fairfield Close, near Farm Court. The footpath damage and potholes have been assessed by Nottinghamshire County Council. It looks like the request has been noted for further action needed. They will let me know when repairs are taking place.
