🌟 Gosia’s Story: A Journey of Strength and Support
When Gosia’s relationship broke down last year, she suddenly found herself facing debt, financial uncertainty, and the challenge of raising two young children on her own.
"Life was turned upside down. I felt so sad—every step I took, I discovered more debt. I didn’t know how to manage."
With support from family and the Homes for Life team, Gosia accessed one-to-one tenancy sustainment support, completed a benefits check, set up manageable repayment plans, and received specialist help to tackle over £2,000 of utility debt.
Today, less than a year later, Gosia is almost debt-free, working part-time as a Catering Assistant at her local primary school, and has started redecorating her home.
"Homes for Life helped make my life easier. They helped me move forward. I’m very happy and I’m proud."
Gosia’s story is a reminder that asking for help is a sign of strength. With the right support at the right time, positive change is possible. 💙
