UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENT Renishaw and Spinkhill Community Hall
📌 Community Catch Up with Killamarsh and Eckington Police SNT on Monday, 22nd June
This is a drop-in session, between 5:30pm - 6:30pm

These community catch up's gives you a chance to raise your concerns, share observations, and provide feedback on policing in the area. Or you can just come along and speak to the officers about the work that they are doing at the moment in Renishaw and the Eckington Parish as a whole.

The officers attending will provide crime prevention advice and ensure our policing strategies align with your community needs. If you have any concerns or worries that you wish to share but don't want to discuss it with the group, there will be an opportunity to speak to the officers separately.
It doesn't matter where you live as long as its in the Eckington parish, you can visit any of these events due to it being the same team that covers all four, this also covers Troway.

FANTASTIC NEWS
A huge thank you to Royal British Legion - Derbyshire for supporting the first public meeting held yesterday to discuss the establishment of a new Royal British Legion Branch in Eckington.

We are delighted to announce that the meeting resulted in a positive outcome, meaning that the Royal British Legion - Eckington Branch can now be officially established!

We will keep you updated on the next steps, including how to get involved, where to seek support, who to contact, and other important information.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this initiative. We look forward to building a strong and successful branch in our community!

RBL in Eckington
The first public meeting of Royal British Legion - Eckington Branch is already next week.
📌 Monday, 15th June from 7pm Bluebell Café
Anyone is welcome to come along to this supportive group which is just about to being form. RBL is not only for veterans, it aims their families and wider public that would like to make a difference.
We hope that residents from our Parish as well as those living outside the Parish will be pleased to become a part of RBL.

🇬🇧 Eckington Hub for Veterans 🇬🇧
10th June (Wednesday) between 7pm - 9pm
We would like to remind you that the meet up is this week at Bluebell Café
Anyone who is interested into armed forces, veterans or those still serving are very welcome to join David and his group where you can discuss any topic over hot drink and little treats.
We hope to see many of you at this fantastic event!

Help for future steps
Not long until students will be leaving the schools and they might need help with their future steps. The drop-in centre for 18 - 21y old can help with: CVs, job searches, application letters to Uni or colleges or how to approach businesses regarding the apprenticeships.
