⚠️ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND CRIME LEADS TO CLOSURE ORDER AND POSSIBLE EVICTION AT MARLOW ADDRESS...
A reminder that 'ASB' and criminal activity at addresses where residents are tenants of housing associations, can lead to eviction for breach of tenancy conditions.
In this case, at #1 Douglas Court, Marlow, the court was satisfied that:
✅ A person has engaged in, or is likely to engage in, disorderly, offensive or criminal behaviour on the premises, or,
✅ Use of the premises has resulted in or likely to result in, serious nuisance to members of public, or,
✅ There has been or is likely to be disorder near those premises, associated with the use of those premises, and,
✅ The order is necessary to prevent the behaviour, nuisance or disorder from continuing, recurring or occurring.
Whilst ongoing 'ASB' can take time to resolve, partnership working in this case between TVP Marlow NHPT, Paradigm Housing, Bucks Council and Marlow Town Council, can and does work well. We will not tolerate 'ASB' and will always look to deal with it swiftly and robustly.
Access to the premises is prohibited for a period of 3 months, unless a Police Officer, Paradigm employee or contractor, registered healthcare professional, emergency services staff and/or authorised employee of Bucks Council. Anyone without reasonable excuse remains on or enters the premises, commits an offence and will be liable to imprisonment, a fine, or both.
Paradigm Housing are considering next steps with the premises, which could include repossession and eviction, amongst other options.
