Earlier this week, Mel dropped into the Adult Social Care and Neighbourhood Navigators drop-in at Hemlington, where she met several local residents caring for family members, and was able to tell them about local carer support services.

The drop-in runs every week and is a great place to find out about local services and support, whatever your situation.

The skip is now in place on the grassed area on Earl’s Court Road, next to 106 Elmhurst Gardens, and our team is here until 4pm or until it is full today!

If you’re in the area and have any unwanted household items to get rid of, pop down and make use of the skip.

📲🖨️🖱️ Further Events for Get Online Week

💬 We have a number of additional sessions next week for Get Online Week run by staff from the Middlesbrough Branch of Lloyds and Halifax Banks.

Staff will be available at the Community Hubs and Libraries at Hemlington and Marton to offer advice on keeping safe online, avoiding scams and fraud, creating strong password and much more. If you cannot make either of these two local sessions, the staff will also be available at Central Library.

♻️ What a great skip drive in the D’s last week! A big thank you to everyone who came along and made use of the skip!

📍 We’re back tomorrow in the E’s! The skip will be located on the grassed area on Earl’s Court Road, next to 106 Elmhurst Gardens, and will be manned by our team from 10am–4pm.

🗑️ A great opportunity to clear out unwanted household items and help keep our community tidy. We hope to see you there!

🧹♻️ Time for a clear-out, Hemlington!

We’re holding a Skip Drive tomorrow, Friday 9 October, giving local residents the opportunity to get rid of unwanted household waste.

📍 Car park opposite 46–48 Doxford Walk, Hemlington
🚛 Skip arriving between 9am–10am
⏰ Available until 2:30pm
There are restrictions on what can be placed in the skip, so please check before bringing larger or unusual items. Upholstered seating, mattresses, plasterboard, electrical items such as TVs/fridges, tyres, paint tins, batteries, gas bottles and hazardous materials cannot be accepted.

Please remember: NO FIRES and LEVEL FILL ONLY.

👋 Staff will be at the skip to help and advise residents on what can and can’t be accepted.
