Today we did clay modeling. The children came up with some great ideas of what they could make. Some made a cat, a bridge, a birthday cake and some wanted to try our example of a tree.

Everyday we encourage the children to go outside and play! Even if it's raining!

We hope you all had a lovely half term break.

Today some of the children went with Chloe and Janet for a trip out to the park, seeing what different flowers they could find. As well as exploring the woods.

Carrying on with our topic book The Gruffalo, we have made our own owls.

Using cutters we cut some bread into a circle, then we buttered our bread, after this we added some banana and sultanas for eyes and a satsuma for the beak.

We talked about the different foods we were using and described what texture each one felt like.
