Today down at the MMRS members testing gauge one locomotive radio controlled on the layout the club is repairing and cleaning up for future shows.

We would like to thank all those who visited the show and all staff and exhibitors involved! We were delighted to see such a good turn-out for this event and took lots of feedback to ensure we can improve next time! In addition, we would like to thank the staff at St. Francis church for making us welcome at their venue.

It is very likely that there will be another show in 2027, so please stay tuned for updates as and when they come.

The Morley Model Railway Show will begin today at 10am at St. Francis of Assisi in Morley. This is a cash only event, so we are unable to accept card payments.

If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to any person at the show wearing a badge with 'Staff' or a Morley Model Railway shirt.

Our cafe will have cold sandwiches, crisps, tea and coffee, cake slices and biscuits available to buy. We have 8 layouts at the show and 3 stalls as well as Bob Dawson's modelling demo table. Also present are two members of the society who are displaying models and printed items, respectively.

We ask that visitors to the show who are using cars should park in the following 3 areas: Morrisons car park, St. Francis car park and Morley WMC car park. Please AVOID using Wesley Street or Westfield Road to park as we are unsure of any permits required for these streets.

When you enter the church, please pay at the desk located near the door and keep hold of your ticket so you can enter later on if you decide to go out!

Just one week to go until our Model Railway Show in Morley! May 23rd 10am to 4pm at St Francis of Assisi church, Westfield Road.

If you do come to the event, please use the upper Morrisons car park (closest to Corporation Street), if the WMC and church car parks are full. Parking will be free across those 3 car parks.

A reminder that this is a cash only event as it makes it much easier on our team of volunteers and traders!
