Terry our club Electrician has a 3d printer and by getting old of BR washing plant diagrams he as scaled down the plans to 1:76 00 track, piece by pieces put together this amazing design on our 00 layout of a Washing Plant.

Hi it’s been a while since our last post with the holiday season and the lovely weather so back at MMRS we are repairing this super gauge 1 layout for next year gauge 1 show, also we are working on the O gauge layout as well, plus Terry putting up some more lighting. Next time I will be featuring a 00 gauge Washer for locos using a 3D printer.

From our day at Pontefract Wheelfest, Thomas can once again be seen at Coniston. We enjoyed running 1940s-era locomotives to fit in perfectly with the 1940s event.

Thank you to Pontefract Civic Society and the staff at Pontefract Library for giving us the opportunity to exhibit at Wheelfest this year!

Here is a video of our newest show layout, Glenadam Distillery, running. Also, we made sure to take some photos of the classic vehicles on display close by!

We also took Coniston with us and we will be posting a video featuring Thomas shortly.

This wasn't all Wheelfest had to offer, either! Costumed characters, the 1940s event and music were just some of the highlights. If you didn't get to go this year, we highly recommend a visit in future!

Today, we're showing in the library at Pontefract Wheelfest, putting Coniston and Glenadam Distillery on display! These photos were taken on 12th June during set up at the library.

Wheelfest is a fantastic free entry event celebrating all things with wheels! The 1940s event is on nearby Ropergate, with entertainment, period dress and much more!

Both events are free entry! Drop by and see us at the library and check out everything on offer today!

Today down at the MMRS members testing gauge one locomotive radio controlled on the layout the club is repairing and cleaning up for future shows.

We would like to thank all those who visited the show and all staff and exhibitors involved! We were delighted to see such a good turn-out for this event and took lots of feedback to ensure we can improve next time! In addition, we would like to thank the staff at St. Francis church for making us welcome at their venue.

It is very likely that there will be another show in 2027, so please stay tuned for updates as and when they come.
