⚠️ Road Closure - Shutterton Industrial Estate

PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE.

Sections of road at Shutterton Industrial Estate will be closed during the day on Sunday 21 June while contractors repair potholes.

Previously this work was scheduled to take place on Sunday 14 June.

Access to businesses will be accommodated, but some restrictions may be in place while works are ongoing.

The roads on this site are under the jurisdiction of Teignbridge District Council.

We are grateful for your patience while these essential works are carried out.

⚠️ Road & underpass works – Dawlish Warren

Sections of the railway underpass will be temporarily closed overnight to allow contractors to carry out essential drain and pothole repairs.

📍 Dawlish Warren Railway Underpass
⏰ Friday 12 June, 11pm – Saturday 13 June, 6am

The underpass is a private road that is maintained by Teignbridge District Council.

This work will affect access to the Inner Car Park, Boathouse, Golf Club and Amusements.

Access to local businesses will be maintained. However, please be aware that there may be people working in the road and please be patient if you are asked to wait while contractors ensure the area is safe before you are able to pass by foot or vehicle.

An election will be held to elect one District Councillor for Dawlish South West ward on Thursday 25 June 2026.

The Statement of Persons Nominated (list of candidates) is now available on our website: https://orlo.uk/5LR0O

Don’t forget the deadline to register to vote is Tuesday 9 June 2026.

You can register to vote on the Government’s website: https://orlo.uk/QjcOD

It usually takes about 5 minutes to register, and all you need is your National Insurance number. You’ll need to register if you’ve never voted before, or if you’ve moved house or changed your name since you last registered.
