Make a bug hotel session
Insects and other minibeasts need safe spaces to shelter, hide from predators and raise their young. Design and make a bug hotel for your garden using natural and recycled materials. (Please note, the photo is for illustrative purposes only)

This FREE online course is aimed at helping parents raising children from the ages of 3 to 7 years to develop skills to support them and their mental health. You will gain knowledge in a number of areas such as understanding social anxiety, mental health, the effect of this and positive ways to support your child as well as life changes and the impact these can have on children.

This online course is every Friday from 24 September to 8 October from 1pm to 2:30pm.

Every year, 1 million babies and young children are taken to hospital after an accident at home.
With advice from the Child Accident Prevention Trust (CAPT) We will share top tips and look at simple safety measures for each room in your home.
Children are keen to explore the world around them so we will also look at ways to avoid trips, falls, bumps and bruises in and around the home and out and about.

Come and join our FREE parenting programme. We will look at the challenges of being parents and share tips and advice. We will focus on family rules, what is age appropriate and how we encourage everyone to follow them. We will look at how we praise positive behaviour at home, how this is rewarded and much more.

This FREE online course is aimed at helping parents and carers raising children from the ages of 12 to 16 years to develop skills to support them and their mental health. You will gain knowledge in a number of areas such as ways to understand your child’s journey into adolescence, risk factors that can affect children’s mental health and sources of support and ways to access these.
