Potentially fatal situations we’ve found recently whilst carrying out EICRs (electrical installation condition reports), a simple loose connection caused these circuit breakers to melt and consequently fail to operate, this DIY bodge of a pendant was stuffed into a loft after so called professional installed some spot lights I ti a brand new bath room.

We have been confronted with this today, left exactly as pictured for 8 months! No cover open to anyone touching live unprotected terminals and buzz bar!!
I’m appalled a fellow electrician has left this deadly situation, no matter the circumstances this is disgusting.

We see all sorts at PSB on a weekly basis.
But felt we had to share this, the world is in a bad enough situation without carelessness like this to fellow human beings.
