With tunnels, a slide, and a swashbuckling pirate ship, the Sensory Island park is a beautiful addition to Glebe Farm. 🏴☠✨

Designed with inclusivity in mind, the park boasts an accessible roundabout perfect for wheelchairs and buggies, alongside various sensory features like musical orbs that jingle and chime when interacted with.

Each of these features makes the park ideally suited for cross-generational play, giving children of a wide range of ages the opportunity to socialise and play together.

Jupiter Play and Inclusive Play worked together with Chelmsford City Council, Essex County Council and FACE (Families Acting for Change in Essex) to create a WOW play space that was completely wheelchair accessible - The Adventure Castle. 🏰

Built as part of a vision to provide high-quality, equal play opportunities for children, much of the playground was specifically designed in conjunction with disabled children at Columbus School and College.

It features an acoustic roller providing musical stimulation and a cradle swing to whoosh through the air! 🚀

There are only 18 sites nationally with P**A accreditation, and the play area in Hylands Park is one of only nine that have the top-level ‘Destination’ status. ⭐
