At our day centres, we believe food brings people together! Baking, cooking, and enjoying meals are integral parts of our Centre activities. Our visitors love sharing old family recipes and trying new things in the kitchen.

We enjoyed a spa day today with refreshing cucumber infused water, heated blankets, manicures, massage and face or eye masks.

I'm doing something completely terrifying! 😱 Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely scared of heights, but on Saturday 11th July, I am facing my ultimate fear and taking to the skies in a microflight! 🛩️
I am doing this to raise £500 for Lifeline Support Centres CIC. We are a small, local not-for-profit running vital community day centres for older adults and people living with dementia right here in Bassetlaw. Every penny raised goes directly toward our summer activity provision, funding things like music therapy, arts, crafts, and outings to keep our families connected all summer long. 🌞
Knowing you are backing me is the only thing giving me the courage to get into that aircraft!

We are arranging a day trip for our Carlton / Worksop families for Monday 8th June and our Retford families on Monday 15th June. This will include transport and a picnic lunch.

We have a very limited number of spaces available due to transportation.

Today is World Bee Day 🐝
To celebrate, we made bee hotels for the garden at Carlton yesterday. A great hands on craft promoting fine motor skills and project planning

Our Monday group enjoyed a trip out to garden centre at Welbeck today.
