Charles Maw Trust Playground

Charles Maw Trust Playground Children's playground next to the Nutfield Memorial Hall, found in the village of Nutfield. The children's playground in the grounds of Nutfield Memorial Hall is currently closed.

However, the Nutfield Parish Council are in the process of trying to secure funding to re-develop the playground this year. This page has been set up to follow the progress and to keep the local community updated on the developments.

We are delighted to announce that after a great deal of hard work by local volunteers, the playground will re-open this coming Saturday. Please join us at the playground on Saturday at 10am to mark this special occasion. Friends and families all welcome. Thank you!

There will be working parties this weekend to clear the playground. Saturday 10am to 12noon and Sunday 10am all day. If anyone would like to come and lend a hand please leave a comment or send us a message. Thank you!

We can confirm we now have a bouncy castle for the kids. And a cake sale. So add those to the football, BBQ and face painting - it's going to be a great day! Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

Event update for you all - this Sunday is looking like it's going to be a sunny one so don't forget those picnic blankets and of course sun cream. Also we are happy to confirm we have a Face Painter coming along to decorate the faces of Nutfield. See you there!

For those of you attending our event on Sunday 17th July, here's some more info on the football plans:
Organised fun matches for all age groups (including mums & dads), walking football and a free-for-all match.
Beat-the-goalie stall.
Crossbar challenge.
Dizzy penalties.
Turn up and play area.

Our application for a Biffa Award is being assessed and it should be considered in the April meeting. We should know the outcome by mid May. Keep your fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Our Biffa application for funding is now ready for submission. Thanks to all who have helped so far. We've had lots of letters of support but the more we have the better. So don't forget to drop yours in to Katie at The Queens Head this week.
