This is just fantastic!!! Thank-you Sandwell Libraries for posting this. We should all treasure our libraries and follow in Dolly's footsteps encouraging reading so it becomes a habit for life.

Oh Dolly, we will always love you 🩷 Look at this beautiful letter she wrote to children who received some of the millions of free books she gave away through her Imagination Library. More than a global music icon - Dolly loved libraries and was passionate about getting kids reading early - as she knew it gives the best start in life. As your children get ready to start or return to school, read them Dolly's letter and tell them that a world of imagination is waiting for them in Sandwell libraries! 🩷
