🎉🐰Miracle rabbit 🐰 🎉
This juvenile rabbit arrived with us suffering from seizures. On admission, he had significant swelling to his head and around his eyes, a deep wound to the back of his head, a severe head tilt and was unable to walk properly.
Sadly, injuries like this often have a poor outcome, with some cases proving fatal or leaving permanent neurological problems. 😢
But we were determined to give this little one the best chance possible. ❤️ We treated his head wound and swelling and provided round the clock supportive care.
Thankfully, the seizures soon subsided and his wound healed. However, his head tilt and bulging eyes remained, so we continued with treatment and monitoring. Slowly but surely, everything began to improve. His swelling went down, his head returned to a normal position, his eyes looked normal and he became completely self sufficient with no signs of lasting neurological problems. 🥹🎉
Once he reached a healthy weight, he was finally released back home, where we hope he finds his family once again. 🐇🌿 (Release video to follow soon 😁)
