Shap Swimming Pool Shap Swimming Pool is a volunteer-run facility and at just under 1,000 ft is Britain's highest heated open air swimming pool!

It is located within Shap Memorial Park, next to the childrens play area. Free car parking is available for pool users. Shap Swimming Pool is open from May to September each year. It is run by a dedicated team of hard-working volunteers who are there every day in the season. The 16-metre pool is fully enclosed and has benches, a paddling pool, picnic tables and a kiosk for drinks and snacks. A qua

lified lifeguard is on duty at all times. Children under the age of 8 years MUST be accompanied in the pool with a responsible adult.

Shap open air Swimming Pool is open until 5th September with the last week being reduced hours. The sessions are all bookable online as usual. Grab yourself an extra swim or 2 before we close! 🥰

Yacht to be kidding me its only £3 per boat.

There will be an oarsome make your own boat craft station for girls and bouys.

Wind and electric powered vessels welcome!
