Located in the heart of the historic market town of Petersfield, our accessible* 25m open air heated pool is open EVERY DAY from Spring until Autumn (usually late April to mid-September) with weekend cold water swimming on offer either side of the heated season. e or take a seat outside our onsite cafe “The Dive Thru” where you will find a variety of high quality healthy food for breakfast, lunch and late afternoons as well as hot and cold beverages, snacks and ice cream. Officially opened in May 1962 for the young people of Petersfield to learn to swim, the children's swimming club still runs today. Dedicated lane swimming takes place at certain times throughout the day, as does public swimming and our facilities are also used for swimming lessons by local schools and sports clubs, private lessons for adults and children and intensive swimming courses during the school holidays. Our pool is also available for private event or party hire in the evenings, complete with underwater lighting and large barbeque and fire-pits, creating a great atmosphere. The pool is run as an independent charitable trust managed by a board of volunteer trustees who are committed to the pool being available for fitness, swimming lessons and general leisure to meet the needs of the local community. The trust is reliant on ticket sales, private event hire, donations and fundraising in order to cover its operational and maintenance costs, and grant contributions for larger capital cost items such as the major refurbishment that took place in 2019/2020. We publish each seasons swim programme on our website around March and look forward to welcoming you in 2022, our Silver Jubilee year.
