Good to be out in Dyffryn y Coed, Church Village on the weekend along with Cllr Gaynor Warren and Welsh Labour volunteers. This is yet another unadopted Persimmon estate, and I'm pleased to be able to work alongside Alex Davies-Jones MP to ensure the estate is brought up to adoptable standards.
Over the past 10 years I've worked successfully with RCT Council to hold Persimmon to account and ensure
π Springfield Gardens, Hirwaun
π Denbeigh Court, Hirwaun
π Coed Dyffryn & Tirfounder Fields, Cwmbach
have had remedial works completed by Persimmon and have been adopted.
With the change in constituency boundaries I will now be holding Persimmon to account on
π Golwg y Mynydd, Mountain Ash
π Maes Cefn Mabley, Llantrisant
π Coed Mieri, Tylagarw
π Heol y Parc, Llanilid
π Dyffryn y Coed, Church Village
All developers are required to bring housing estates up to adoptable standards within 12 months of completion. It is shocking that as one of the 'big four' UK house builders Persimmon's business model ploughs profits back into lucrative new build sites, instead of spending on completing the highways and drainage works legally required for adoption of their existing developments.
If you live on one of these sites and would like to be kept up to date with my work please email [email protected] to be added to my mailing list.
