The future of our Town is important

The future of our Town must be shaped by residents and not Political Parties

We watched this morning's development control committee meeting with great interest.

Especially interesting that every single Labour Councillor voted to approve the application.

They simply don't listen to residents and we will make sure that next May that they are democratically removed from office.

Porthcawl has suffered too long at the hands of national political parties.

Next year, its time to vote Independent, for a Better Porthcawl and Bridgend County.

The Development Control Committee at BCBC has just rejected the planning application for the propsal at the Fulgonis site.

This will now return to the Planning Committee next month for ratification (as is the process)

The planning application submitted by Codi Group for 43 affordable apartments in a five storey "landmark building" will be presented to the Development Control Committee of BCBC on Thursday 11th June 2026.

The meeting commences at 10:00.
