This morning we attended the Seafarers Service at Portsmouth Cathedral 🌊

A time to reflect on those lost at sea, and to extend our thanks to everyone who works to keep our waters safe today.

A highlight of the service was the "Theatre of the Sea" arrangement, beautifully featuring our iconic Pompey Chimes.

We attended the service to mark the anniversary of D-Day this morning, at the D-Day Stone in Southsea.

Good turnout, despite the weather, and the rain held off until it was finished.

A very poignant service, it's important to never forget the sacrifices made.

We will remember them.

It was a joy and privilege to attend the Centenary Civic Ceremony this afternoon at Portsmouth Guildhall. We were also reunited with Mayor Kamoda from Maizuru, Japan.

Feel very proud of our great city and the small part we've played in its history.
