We would love new people to join us on our Portsmouth 100 celebration walk this Sunday in Southsea. The Ramblers Wellbeing Walks have been part of Portsmouth for 22 years, previously known as the Healthy Walks, and we have had so many people joining over the years that we would love to celebrate with walkers old and new, and anyone who loves to walk.

We will be starting from Speakers Corner next to the Briny, walking up to Clarence Pier and back to Southsea Tennis Club. There is the option to buy refreshments from Southsea Tennis Club if you wish. We will be meeting for a 10.30am start, for anyone who would like to join us.

Sunday 6th September 2026
10.30am start
No need to book - just turn up.
Walk leaders will be wearing an orange hi-viz jacket.
Free to attend

As autumn approaches we try and harvest some seeds to use for next year. In the Chill and Grow group tomorrow (September 3rd), we will identify some of the different varieties of things like sunflowers and tomatoes, extract and wash the seeds before drying them for storage. You can take some home to sow when the winter has passed and leave some for the allotment 😊

The group is primarily for neurodiverse people, but open to all who benefit from a calmer relaxed session with a nice activity.
