🏖️ The team at Belfast Live think Portstewart seaside town is the best all-rounder in Northern Ireland and arguably the finest in all of the UK 🤔

Northern Ireland has no shortage of impressive seaside towns to spend your summer days by the coast.

We are used to seeing our gorgeous sands and buzzy towns feature in rankings from publications across the UK, but Belfast Live decided we wanted to see where reigns supreme among our team.

With reporters from all corners of the country, we all have our own special spots we return to when we think of summer by the sea. After some (often heated!) debates, Portstewart on NI's glorious north coast came out top.

Some of our honourable mentions, of course, include Newcastle, Portrush and Ballycastle, which all stand out in their own right, and we could also go on for days about our magical seaside villages such as Cushendun and Ballyhornan.

But when all was weighed up, Portstewart came up as pretty hard to beat. We have rounded up some of the fantastic things we think make the Co Derry town the best in Northern Ireland - let us know if you agree!
