It may have been a rainy start to the day, but the sunshine has finally made an appearance! ☀️

Nikki, Paul and Sandra enjoyed some fresh air with leisure staff. After a grey and drizzly morning, it was lovely to make the most of the brighter weather and spend some time outdoors. 😊🌿

A sunny day adventure for Tom and Marc! ☀️🌳

Today, the guys enjoyed a lovely walk through the woods around Cwm and Dyserth. Armed with plenty of sun cream and with the trees providing some much-needed shade along the way, it made for the perfect route in the warm weather.

A lovely morning down by Marine Lake for Ed and his fabulous support worker, Ashleigh.

The pair enjoyed a sunny stroll around the lake, making the most of the beautiful weather. Although the sun was shining brightly, a refreshing breeze made it the perfect morning for a walk.

Afterwards, they headed to Caffi Hwb Yr Harbwr - Harbour Hub Cafe for a well-earned refuel.

The lovely Rob is currently completing a trial at Caffi Hwb Yr Harbwr - Harbour Hub Cafe.

The café is one of our fellow CoOptions social enterprises, and supports individuals throughout the week to build skills, gain experience and grow confidence in a busy café setting.

With the weather being so hot today, we decided to stay indoors and find some activities we could enjoy whilst keeping cool.

That said, temperatures were rising during a very competitive game of pool between Sian, James and their lovely support worker Lisa at our leisure facility. Lexi had the all important job of being referee!

Sian enjoyed making cottage pie this week and looks very happy with how it turned out 👩‍🍳

Cooking and baking during support sessions is a great way to build confidence and encourage independence, which is a key part of what we do.
