It was a real pleasure to do some Mayoral duties today at the Midsomer Norton Town Fayre. It was an honour to officially open the Fayre, to welcome the Skate Jam organisers, and to introduce some of the bands performing in the amphitheatre, and to talk to many attendees, performers and stall holders.

It was wonderful to meet and chat to Somer Valley Volunteers today at Waterside Valley, and to see the great work that has been done making the site a wonderful resource for residents and environment for wildlife. It really is a beautiful spot, especially on a day like today.

It’s local radio day today! I was very pleased to go into the studio fur an interview with Dom Chambers about the work of a Mayor, Midsomer Norton, music, events and issues, and several other things. And I got to choose a couple of my favourite tracks from my birth year! Tune in today if you can.

Join us in Midsomer Norton for a FREE outdoor screening in the beautiful setting of the Midsomer Norton Town Park Amphitheatre! Find out how we can give back to wildlife and to ourselves as individuals and communities.
Featuring:
🐝My Garden of a Thousand Bees, our longer feature film in partnership with Wildscreen charity. This film “follows acclaimed wildlife filmmaker Martin Dohrn as he sets out to record all the bee species in his tiny urban garden in Bristol, England.” You will see “bees laying tiny eggs preparing for the next generation, green-fanged spiders feasting on male flower bees and a female yellow-faced bee attacking a Gasteruption wasp”
