Thankyou for a lovely event at Arrow valley parkrun today. We had 507 people take part , supported by 39 volunteers .

Thankyou for making my role as Run Director enjoyable this morning.

We are starting to look towards the future weeks and any help you can give us with volunteering we would be very grateful. Some of the roles you can participate and volunteer ( set up, close down, scan after your run, first timer briefing ).

****URGENT PARKING UPDATE****
As you'll see from the video below the entrance to Arrow Valley Park on Battens Drive by Lidl has been narrowed to one carefully driven car in each direction, because of some delayed works by the entrance. This causes congestion both on entering and particularly on leaving from these car parks as you have the additional complication of the entry and exit of cars to the Lidl car park. I took this video at around 4.30 this afternoon and traffic leaving the park was queued down past the height barrier at a relatively quiet time of day. If you're planning on driving to parkrun tomorrow, I would recommend considering parking at one of the other car parks either off Proctors Barn Lane or off Holloway Drive as even with the extra walk there and back it'll be quicker for getting in and definitely quicker to get out!
