What happens when football meets phonics? A winning team, of course! 🙌

We had a fantastic opportunity to meet players and coaches from Tranmere Rovers and share the brilliant work of English Hubs across the country. Our message was simple…You don’t have to be a teacher to inspire a child to read! 💙

Footballers and coaches are role models to so many young people. A conversation about a favourite book, a little encouragement or simply showing that reading matters could be the spark that inspires a child to pick up a book! 📖✨

Because whether it’s on the pitch or in the classroom, every child deserves the chance to succeed! ⚽🏆

Our one day audits are collaborative and supportive and provide the opportunity to work alongside an experienced member of the Roade English Hub team to look at reading across Key Stage 2. What’s more, the audit can lead to further free support and funding! 🙌
